I was born in Germantown, Tennessee and remain proud of Tennessee's history of volunteerism; especially concerning the Republic of Texas. I, like Davey Crockett, saw it fit to adopt Texas as home.

It is a joy to have been a Denton Bronco and a Mean Green (twice over). It was a privilege to be married on the steps of the Downtown Denton Courthouse with a bagpiper inviting my wife down the aisle (sidewalk). And it changed my life to see my wife labor at Inanna Birth Center and ultimately meet our son, Clive David, at Denton Regional Hospital, then my second son, Benjamin Blaise, two years later, and my third son, Joseph Reesing in the midst of COVID-19.

I could have been described once in my life as a Division 1 Athlete, Professional Photographer, International Student, City Commissioner or Non-Profit Founder. I am happy to say my present description of husband and father is the best one yet.
